The better love campaign

Our Beginning

The Maternal & Infant Health Task Force was born out of a deep commitment to serving Georgia's moms and dads needing pregnancy-related care and resources. Founded by Georgia State Representative Mesha Mainor of Atlanta, this initiative began in Fulton County, where communities are the first to experience the "Better Love" campaign.

The idea for the Task Force came to life when Representative Mainor spoke on a panel addressing maternal and infant health disparities in communities of color. She quickly realized that most of the audience was eager to join her in making a difference. At that moment, she made a heartfelt decision to establish the Maternal & Infant Health Task Force and invited volunteers to help bring this vision to life.
